@aslanthemenace: I risked my life to make you guys this video. I have no idea why Aslan turned out like this. I had so many cats that I raised since kittens throughout my life all turned out to be loving and affectionate and never hurt me. If you know Aslan and been here since the beginning you’ll know he was always like this since the young age of 9 weeks. I have been trying for months now to work with him on his behavioral issues and he did get MUCH better. Specially with the smaller animals. He doesn’t try to hurt them anymore. He does however try to hurt me and the other cats whether he’s serious like he is in this video or just rough playing. I really really love Aslan with all my heart. But I’d be lying if I said his benhaior isn’t stressing me out. I really want him to be the gentle giant he is supposed to be.. I will be patient with him and hope he grows out of this phase and continue to work on it. This is very hard on me because I don’t know the reason he does this and because I never had a cat turn out this way with me before. I feel like I’m in a grey area and treading waters with crocodiles and snakes. He is so sweet when he is calm.. but that’s rarely. He follows me everywhere he cries if I’m gone. He waits at the door for me to come out or open it for him. But then he switches. I’m really sad I can’t love him and hold him like I do with the rest of the babies I have. I’m actually heartbroken because we waited three long years to have him. Now that he’s here, I have to constantly stress and worry and run after him and redirect him. I know he is a kitten, but my biggest fear is that he won’t grow out of it and he is only getting bigger. #aslan #mainecoon #PetsOfTikTok #catsoftiktok #petlovers

I think you should respect that he doesn't like being carried; it's clear it stresses him out. He tells you he doesn't like it, and you don't put him down. Not all kittens are going to be as affectionate as we want them to be, and we have to respect the boundaries they set for us.
