Hey, I'm pulling the transmission on my 2016 nissan and when removing the components on top of the transmission I found a little silver plate thing and can't figure out where it goes, could I send you a picture to see if you have any idea where it goes. I found it laying near the shift cable.

As a mechanic, would you rather take the a good fuel pump from one car and put it on the other or would you rather swap the transmission? My friend has two 2015 Nissan Altimas and she can’t make up her mind on what to do. One car has a bad transmission and the other has a bad fuel pump. She wants to swap transmissions so she has her initial car running, while everyone else is telling her to just swap fuel pumps and drive the one that isn’t as pretty 😅
