Do you have toys with squeakers? My dachshund used to love any toys with a squeaker. You're still going to have to crate him when you go out, unfortunately.

Girl I promise it’s just a phase. My dachshund puppy did the exact same thing until he was 6 months & now he independently plays. I know it’s hard but you got this! 🫶🏼

It’s a puppy phase! My dog is 7 now, but when he was a puppy he did the exact same thing! I promise it’s a puppy thing! He’ll grow out of it. They make a bitter spray for chewing. It’s animal safe and is made for this chewing phase. Hang in there it’ll get better. All puppies are a pain in the ass, but it’s gets better! ❤️

Walmart has pretty cheap fillable toys, where you put treats in there and those are the only ones my dog will play with

I got my frenchie a toy they have at petco and target, it’s a rubber teething bone with a towel tied to it where I would wet and freeze, and he’s a year and a few months and still uses it. He loves chewing stuff and having something in his mouth to gnaw on
