I just don’t get the hate on new builds. It’s a literal blank canvas for you to make your own…from scratch. Rather than living in someone else’s house until you’ve redecorated

I think new builds can have a lot of character which isn’t the problem with new builds….its the fact in 10 years time your gaff will be wrecked structurally because they whack them up in 6 months with the cheapest materials because the developers only care about making big bucks instead of the people living there ✨

All these people saying new builds have no character. At one point every house was a new build as was bare. Also people buying houses and renovating obviously don’t like the character when they bought it so I struggle to see why people hate new builds 😂👍. Your house is lovely!

People saying new builds have no character are weird. They're blank canvasses ready for the owner to decorate and develop as they please. Houses from the 1940's looked like they had 'no character' at one point.
