@theprofitablehandyman: #creatorsearchinsights the most profitable planet are not biggest jobs last week. I made $257.78 and 22 minutes on a single service call most handyman would’ve charged half of that fast service calls with proper pricing. Be big jobs every day of the week follow for exactly how we price every job. #handyman #handymanservices #handymantools #startuptips

I’m a welder not a handyman. But this is what I do. Small to medium repairs. Price the outcome not hourly. It’s not uncommon to be making $500/hr with this model, while maintaining a happy customer. Yet I’m the only welder running it.

If you can get that many calls, great. It takes time to build that reputation, skill set, and practice. Plus, are you doing all of the scheduling, call inquiries, invoicing, tool upkeep, etc., or do you have employees for that?

I’ve made in excess of 700 a day doing nothing but small jobs and service calls. The bigger jobs lug you down and getting them finished at times can be a challenge not from your work but situations like painting n stuff

pro tip as a former mep technician. get upfront regardless if you can get it done quick or not. coz there sum people who think you should be paid less if you finish faster than an owl can blink.

$50 per day profit if you average, throughout the day, even including Rush hour, a half an hour to and from + 1/2 hour at the job, an 8-hour day booked solid would be five jobs. 1250, he would need at least two people, one doing the work, one doing the booking, accounting, advertising and so on, would be around $800 a day in labor costs, couple hundred km a day on your work truck at a dollar a km $200, commercial insurance, shop rent, tools and supplies, taxes... 4k/mo, or 200/ day, $50 per day profit.

To all the people saying it’s to much. Plumbers charge $250 or more to snake a drain that takes less time. They also charge between $200-350 extra if that have to remove the toilet to get access
