Back in the late 70s early 80s this was how a regular American manicure was done. Cutex, the maker of the nail polish remover had an entire nail manicure kit that involved all of these types of powders and soft buffers. No harsh emery boards touched your nail except to file down the edges. I like that you’re bringing this back.
