Similarly, when I went to Machu Picchu, I started thinking about the people who built it. They didn’t build it just to stare at the stone walls, they built it to be surrounded by the mountains, the views, the feeling of being in that place. So when you visit somewhere like this, look beyond what was built or placed there by humans and see what they were there for 🫶🏻
