Our reality today has clearly changed with the spread of social media. These platforms have become part of our daily lives; we turn to them in every free moment, sometimes even without realizing it. We spend long hours scrolling, moving from one picture to another and from one video to the next, without noticing how quickly time passes. By the end of the day, we often feel tired, yet we have achieved nothing meaningful.
The problem is not social media itself, but how we use it. It takes away the most valuable thing we have: time. This time could be spent with family, invested in learning, or simply used to rest and reflect. Instead, we end up living a virtual life, watching others and comparing ourselves to them, which can make us feel dissatisfied and restless.
What is even more concerning is that these platforms can become addictive. We return to them again and again without a real reason, just out of habit. Over time, we lose our ability to focus and drift away from real life—the life that truly deserves to be lived.
That’s why we need real awareness of this issue. We must take control of our time and use social media wisely and in moderation, instead of letting it control us. Life is not a small screen we stare at, but a collection of moments and experiences that we should live fully and sincerely.🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😳😳
