Shiiiiit that looks slick you mad scientist!! I love the look of the transparent filament but if you do use that for the final model and you don’t want to see the innards could maybe paint the liner with automotive primer. Maybe white? I dunno. The aesthetics of seeing the wiring would be slick. Can’t wait to see the finished project!!

The soldering iron is your main issue, I recommend investing in an Aifen A9E. Get the full pack with the 3 different sizes of 3 pack tips, to allow you to work on small and large things more selectively
