@fight_with_veya: What many people don't know or may not remember is Veya has only ever done 22hrs on room air in her life. She was intubated for 3.5 months at pretty much the beginning of her life. Prior to this PICU admission we got her back to her baseline which was .5 litre of low flow oxygen. She was almost on room air leading up to her liver surgery back in December. Her little lungs will never be 100% but with time I'm confident they will get stronger again. She's proving it right now with not needing to be re intubated and has weaned down on some of her oxygen today! If you ask me I think her little lungs are feisty and strong just like she is considering all they have gone through
