I just pierced my own septum yesterday and I pierced my own nostril two years ago.

Piercing guns are for EARLOBESSSSS!! If you wanna pierce yourself use an actual needle, it’s more accurate 😭😭 (I’m not a piercer, I’m just reciting what I’ve been told from professional piercers. And also, I feel like it should be common knowledge to not use a piercing gun on anything other than for your ears.) (Also, if you have used a piercing gun on your nose or anywhere else and haven’t got an infection after, good for you!!)

Those aren’t even recommended for piercing ears 😬 a septum piercing uses that long needle thingy & a real piercer will mark the sweet spot (the part that isn’t cartilage), I used to have one & it HURT getting it but only when it was going through the septum. That looks like she’s trying to pierce cartilage & as someone who has cartilage piercings that’s going to hurt way more & take forever to heal, if it does at all 😭

Guys do not be piercing things on your own. Please go see a professional. It's so easy to get some sort of problem when you do it on your own.

I would NEVER pierce my septum with a gun especially the septum I don’t recommend guns bc they cause way more damage but you should get it done properly and professionally

coming from someone whos done most at home piercings, if youre going to do a piercing at home please buy a real piercing kit that comes with needles instead of a gun

Ummh... I pierced my septum (myself) twice, I was lucky it didn't got infected or sum... (it was with a sewing needle and alcohol... few weeks I stretched it with another needle...) at least I pierced the right place (sweet spot)
