@iamlovespell888: Gardening is my next journey in conjure work. I chose #morningglory as my first 🪴 plant. To honor my ancestors and as an offering. #greenscreen

I love morning glories and (what I think of as) their counterparts, moonflowers, which are almost as easy to grow, are fragrant, and attract lunar moths. I use the moon cycle a lot in my work. No idea about the Hoodoo correspondences, tho. Here’s my morning glory fence line last year. You got this! Oh, also, okra is super easy to grow.

Grow in a container in ground so it doesn’t take over your yard and you can gather the root later if you choose. ❤️

Be very careful. Look up your state. Sadly it is invasive in much of the US. Farmers have had to condemn whole fields because of bind weed seeds on the breeze.

My great grandmother grew Morning Glories and 4'Oclocks at her house here on the farm and at her little house in town. Do the 4'Oclocks represent anything?

Have you thought about growing types of mint? They are so easy to grow and they grow so abundantly! Definitely my recommendation for new gardeners as someone who’s family are ranchers :)

This is a little off track but depending on which morning glory you grow you could have the original High John the conquer root. The original is not the one from Mexico but the (Ipomoea pandurata) "Man Root". I was told years ago that the root from Mexico came over later and shops pushed it as a replacement for those that lived in the cities.

I nick them with a nail clipper. They are not supposed to be invasive in my state due to the cold. But they come back. I grow several kinds. I would grow in container if I were to do it again. Now you will have a hoodoo garden!
