I walked away for the same reason, 9 years now. Can i be honest? I wish I would have still stayed, i have strayed so far that now that I want to return. I can’t, i feel so unworthy. I do understand how you feel and the only thing I can say is that its better to live with him & knowing you’re unperfect than walking away all together🙁 I pray God meets you where you are, we are all human and there is no perfect path for everybody. I respect your decision of not wanting to be luke warm. But your heart is clearly on fire for God and not Luke or cold. The mission of the cross was fueled by His grace and mercy. Even if you had it atleast 80% right you’ll still be repenting because we are still in this flesh. I really hope you decide to stay the course and repenting 7x7x7 and on. Love ya sis.

Don’t walk away, you are being accountable and you are trying, keep trying. His Grace is abundant and he gives it as a free gift. You are not abusing his Grace you are experiencing what Paul experienced in Roman 7. Drifting away won’t help. But trust me sis I understand how you feel and I can tell you love him. He will help you. You will always need to repent but as long as you keep repenting and doing better. The fact that you are convicted is a good sign you are just down right now but you won’t stay there. You’ll be fine. Jesus has you.💯
