@belovedcabin: I’ve been seeing TikTok videos of people flipping out over their Georgia Power bills going way up recently. If you don’t know, Georgia Power is basically the main power company here in GA. So I started digging into why this is happening… and honestly, it’s not just one thing. It’s kind of a perfect storm. I also saw Jon Ossoff talking about solar and clean energy here in Georgia. These actions are making life more affordable for regular people and are making true change. In the meantime, just little stuff helps: Turn off lights you’re not using Unplug things instead of leaving them on standby Use energy-efficient stuff when you can Maybe switch to a low-flow shower head It’s not huge, but it adds up. …or you can just move to the woods and go off-grid like we did 😆 If this matters to you, comment ‘keep fighting’ and tell Ossoff to keep going.
