Horrified call the company and report - they might want the can keep it in a plastic bag away from things that might eat it and sealed

we've noticed cheese is spoiling fast & way before it's expiration date too. 4 block of cheese spoiled already when we first opened it. we couldn't have a single piece. they were different kinds/brands & weeks apart of purchases. INSPECT YOUR FOOD !!

Was this can stored near a microwave at all? I’ve seen videos stating that microwaves can affect canned goods.

Ew, this is definitely the result of a puncture in the can. Punctures can be caused by dents or other trauma to the can. Always check your cans first to make sure you’re not buying a dented can with secret puncture wounds!

Something about dented cans actually make them way more prone to botulism. That’s the real reason stores used to run “dings and dents” sales!

that's botulism i advise you avoid buying dented cans or eating anything that's bubbling or smells off (not saying this one was dented just letting you know to prevent it from happening again)
