@darklens_30: 🇬🇧 Stroud, England — January 22, 2023 A simple act of trust… turned deadly. 63-year-old Neil Shadwick, living with advanced Parkinson’s disease, was outside a Tesco store when someone he knew took his mobility scooter and drove away, leaving him stranded in freezing conditions. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t get help. Temperatures dropped to around -4°C as he was left alone on the pavement for hours. What began as a theft became something far more serious—the removal of his only means of mobility left him completely vulnerable in life-threatening weather. He was later found unresponsive and taken to hospital, where he died from hypothermia, worsened by his condition. Investigators confirmed the suspect had taken the scooter and fled. She later pleaded guilty to manslaughter and aggravated vehicle taking. In August 2024, she was sentenced to six and a half years in prison. A devastating case that showed how a single act can have irreversible consequences. 🎥 Follow @darklens_30 for more dark true crime & shocking history like this. #viral #reels #crime #truecrime #story
