I hate feeling like I’m always the one being left behind. I try to act like I don’t care, but deep down, it hurts more than I want to admit. I see everyone laughing, talking, and enjoying themselves, while I’m standing there wondering if anyone would even notice if I disappeared from the group. Sometimes I start questioning myself. Maybe I’m not interesting enough. Maybe I’m too quiet. Maybe there’s something wrong with me. I compare myself to everyone around me and somehow always feel like I’m the one who doesn’t belong. I know I shouldn’t think this way, but it’s hard to stop. I just want to feel included. I want to feel like someone actually wants me around—not because they have to, but because they genuinely choose me. I’m tired of pretending that being left out doesn’t hurt. I’m tired of feeling insecure about who I am. I just wish, for once, I could feel like I’m enough without having to prove it.
