That’s true, but people work third shift. So the best time for that person to vacuum may very well be 10pm and if their excuse was “it’s not my problem, 10pm isn’t even late!” I doubt that would be okay.

I work overnights so I am asleep at 10am.. routine household noises are NORMAL. If you can’t handle someone vacuuming, apt living is not for you.

anytime after 9am should be fine. as someone who used to work 3rd shift it sucks. but we have to realize most people work days. it's on us to adapt, not them

I worked night shift for 10 years. Wear earplugs and use a box fan for some white noise when you sleep. Can’t expect the world to cater to your needs.

7 am no, 8 am is pushing but I won’t be mad about it but not like it. 10 am is perfectly reasonable. Esp if that’s the damn weekend

I’m going to bed at 9am and I have a white noise machine and headphones so I can make sure I can sleep… my weird schedule isn’t anyone’s problem 🤷🏻♀️

if a neighbor approached me directly and asked politely for me to do it later (bc they work nights or smt) i would do it, but 10 am is a pretty considerate hour to vacuum imo
