I honestly don’t even know where to start. I’ve cried so many times over the last couple of days just reading your comments and seeing how many people care about Honey. The kindness you’ve shown has been overwhelming, and we are so incredibly grateful. We wanted to share a little win from tonight. Honey has started moving her back legs while she’s laying down, and I think she has officially decided she’s over this IVDD thing and is ready to go back to neighborhood patrol. Tomorrow morning we’re taking Honey back to the vet to get some more information, talk through all of our options, and see if any of the treatment suggestions so many of you guys shared could be possible for her. We’re hoping to get a clearer plan moving forward, and we’ll keep you updated. I also wanted to answer a couple of questions that we’ve been getting. Honey does have pet insurance, but the vet clinics that perform IVDD surgery here in MN require the full $10,000 to $13,000 upfront. We’ve also looked into CareCredit, but my sister and I just graduated and unfortunately don’t qualify. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
