I think you are referring to mostly anglo-christian religions like modern christianity and catholicism. As these religions played a major role in systemic oppression. Manifest Destiny was the major driving ideology driving these religions into northern colonial america. I don’t know much history about other religions and their ties to oppression though, it would be interesting to discuss them!
