As a nanny of 4 kids. My first thing is their safety and getting inside so they can eat their after school snack. Yes they’re starving by then. A 6 yr old, two 4 yr olds and a 3 year old. Monday-Friday this is exactly how my car looks like. I try my best to reset over the weekend but that doesn’t always happen. I’m exhausted, over stimulated and just checked out. Between cooking, laundry, cleaning the last thing in my mind is the trash on the floor of my car or the clothes and water bottles that are left behind.
