You also get that stupid hole in the bottom from the kneading blade if you bake it in the breadmaker.

my bread maker is 30 years old and I've only used it to bake bread maybe 3 times. its made so many hundred recipes woth of dough though

I NEVER bake it in the bread maker. I hate the shape and the texture is completely different. I use it exactly the way you do. Great for pizza dough and sweet, enriched dough.

This is what I do! I use my bread maker for the mixing and risings it’s so much easier to clean too instead using a mixer
