I realized after the fact late last week I was in my mind when a coworker officially got me very frustrated(this guy is a daily test of patience which I have gratitude for). Constant practice keeping my eye singular but I'm glad to be in practice!

The Egyptian Desert Fathers practiced this extensively and wrote about it as 'hesychasm'... aligning with the inner 'uncreated light' through stillness. They also explained the body being purified during this with bodily spasms very similar to the spontaneous 'kriyas' people experience from kundalini rising and the bodies purification.
