How old is old for an iPhone? I had a OnePlus 6 from 2018 to 2025 and the battery was to be expected from a phone at that age. But it was still going strong until I dropped it

so it's literally saying if someone bought a brand new iphone 17 and the next year iphone 18 comes out. the new phone the person bought just last year would work slower because the "battery is worn out" after a long use or cannot handle new update, as an excuse? that is hardly believable because if you bought literally any other phone it would work just fine for years and will be able to handle updates for years until around 5 updates and will still work normally even if it didn't. what a shitty excuse for a company to make you buy their new phone EVERY YEAR
