@pitochk: Perhaps there is no topic at our current stage of development more mysterious than time. Some would say that time is a measure describing changes in the state and position of objects. More advanced thinkers argue that time is one of the coordinates of our universe and is not so different from “up” or “left.” And some scientists even propose quantum hypotheses involving tachyons. The problem is that none of these explanations fully captures what time really is. Time can change, slow down, or speed up depending on the observer - something we learned from special relativity. But what is time? Can it ever become something we control? Or is it merely an illusion created by our brain to construct a coherent picture of reality? I don’t know. It’s unlikely that anyone truly does right now. But step by step, we are moving closer to an answer.
