Sir let's read it from Mathew 27:3-10 it's seen clearly that the field was bought by the chief priest. And I have also read acts 1:18 . according to my understanding on these accounts Judas left the money in the temple and went to hang himself in the field which was not paid yet and thereafter the chief priest took that money which was left by Judas and went ahead to buy the field and it became the grave for strangers. thank you.
