that is Total BS. the speed limit is the highest speed you are allowed to drive on that particular section of road. no law says you must drive that fast. as long as your not 14 miles under the speed limit you are legal and can not be charged with impeding tradfic

while its likely not illegal unless theres a specific sign setting minimum speed (atleast in EU), studies shown that people driving below the speed limit, especially in two lane roads, obstruct the natural flow of traffic and cause dangerous situations by forcing those driving at the speed limit to brake. From a drivers perspective, the officers are right. legally, if no minimum speed limit is set, theyre wrong. Its called limit for a reason, not the "minimum speed"
