Electrolytes will have some salt/sodium because it help you retain the water until you body can absorb it. Adding 1 electrolyte drink to your daily intake can help with this. I personally LOVE ultima flavor packets! But liquid IV is PACKED with electrolytes as well and is easier to find in stores

Yes. They taste like salt to me too. I think they r supposed to taste that way to replace electrolytes including sodium which is definitely salty
