I'm in England. I think the judge near the police department will back up the corrupt police. When it gets appealed to a higher court not friends with the corrupt police the case gets thrown out

I agree that we have the best justice system, it's just not applied as it was designed, and the police that enforce it should always be held accountable for their misuse of the justice system. As a citizen you shouldn't be forced to fight for your rights as much as we do. cops should be strictly forced to do serve the laws not their feelings.
