 Apple Hand Pies 🍎🥧 Makes 12 mini pies (3” each) Ingredients: Pie Dough Apple Pie Filling 1 egg Directions: 1. Whisk the egg in a small bowl and set to the side. 2. Roll out pie dough to ¼ inch thick. Cut circles out of the dough using a biscuit cutter (I used the 3” size cutter). Transfer the circles to a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. 3. Add 1 tbs of filling to each circle, then add another dough circle on top. 4. Seal the edges of the dough with a fork, then gently cut slits on the top of the dough. 5. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water. Set to the side. 2. Melt butter in a medium size skillet, then add pumpkin pie spice, sugar, and diced apples. Continue to cook for about 5-8 minutes. 3. Add cornstarch slurry, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until mixture has thickened. Allow to cool before using.
