i quite literally didn’t deserve my spot… i got into everywhere besides sdsu and berkeley( waitlist at ucla). my uc gpa was 4.4 but i had two ds for ap pre calc sophomore year and like one C… ☹️im sorry queen i hope u enjoy ur time at nyu!!!

I was the same 😭. I got rejected into all of my instate target schools even tho I should have been autoadmitted but got into UMiami 🙃

I am so confused about the American application process. In Sweden we basically go purely from grades or a separate exam called högskoleprovet. Different programs have different amounts of percentages split between the categories.

of course. NYU is a pay to play college. that's why they take one of the highest rate of internationals, all full pay. 💀 since they are test optional they artificially keep their acceptance rate low to pretend to be a top tier school.
