His performance art pieces are incredible and sometimes grotesque, engaging the extreme ends of human connection. Some of my favorite works by him include a couple melting a giant ice cube with their mouths (“Icebreaker”), a metal collar with dozens of protruding arms aimed to take selfies (“Selfie Stick Collar”), and an elderly couple slow dancing while wrapped in ropes (“Puppets”).
