I will always love og Jill for how she was one of the first female protagonist that wasn’t always falling in love with the other male character. BUUUTT to me, re3r makes more sense personality wise. She is supposed to be this angry at everything remotely linked to Umbrella, she’s the only one left in RC that has already went through zombies. Lets not forget that after 1, her only goal is to take down Umbrella, she is furious that because of this single company she lost most of her colleagues and now is losing her city that she swore to protect by joining STARS. She has EVERY right to be this angry and it does fit into the rest of her appearances more than og re3 (thats only my opinion yall 😭)

I’m honestly surprised how many people are defending this change. People keep saying fans are just blinded by nostalgia— but that’s not really the point. No shit longtime fans feel attached after following a character for years. The problem isn’t the personality itself, it’s the change. CAPCOM spent years establishing a consistent version of Jill, and fans got used to that characterization. Then the remake comes along and changes it, and it seems likely that they’ll carry this new interpretation into future installments. It’s not about hating something new, it’s about suddenly shifting a character people have known for years.

this is what I mean when I say I don't like remake Jill, I don't fully hate her, just her personality, it didn't really bother me at first but when I saw someone pointed out that they assassinate og Jill's character, I was like "yeah, no, I prefer og Jill", just my opinion tho, no need to agree with me
