@pt_with_jt: We’re getting biblical about the comfort zone today, y’all. I had never considered the spiritual side of our “comfort zone” and now it means so much more to me. God has amazing plans for your life, and we can rest assured that not all of those plans will come to fruition if we don’t trust him to lead us through uncomfortable things. He is refining you as a person, and refinement only comes through fire (challenges, obstacles, adversity, discomfort). When we say no to those uncomfortable things we are feeling nudged to, we are withholding ourselves from experiencing the full power of Jesus. Maybe it’s why you’ve felt distant or less convicted recently, I know I’ve gone through those times and still frequently do!
