This was my boyfriends 1972 Mach 1 mustang in 2021. Him and his dad pulled it from the bush at a farm.. with 5 years of work (mostly saving for parts) they completely rebuilt it. I think a few months wait is most definitely worth it.

I have an old defender. It’s been in the shop for a year but finally driving it around town! These cars don’t go fast, or far. So definitley a town car! But I love it

No you only live once… you have your DREAM HOUSE… AND you can get THAT TOO?! I say go for it… it can literally be a summer/Sunday driver! I’m sure the price is OUTRAGEOUS but again, if you can afford it, and still live comfortably, then go for it… you can’t take your money with you when you die, might as well enjoy it while you can

Sadly … everyone I have known that has had a Land Rover —- had to spend too much money to fix it and it ends up being a money pit and they trade it in. I will say, I have never met anyone that drove those $200K land rovers… those might be different. And I will say I love them but would never buy one if I had the opportunity.

The color combo is gorgeous and yes, you fell into a situation that many of us are stuck in with Classic vehicles… I’m obsessed so much with the 60s and 70s era 4 x 4 trucks that I ended up forking out 6 figures to have a classic vehicle, but not drive and perform like a Classic vehicle… so yes, my current truck is a “2023 donor” for my 1976 crew cab body on top, but nobody can really point that out when they see my truck and I still have the 70’s interior vibe on the inside …
