@mealsbyrachael: GOCHUJANG BRAISED SHORT RIB BOWLS 🍚🌶️🥒 I normally make red wine braised short rib but I had the idea to make it asian style and this was INSANEEEE 🤤🤤🤤 I served it with some pickled shredded carrots, spicy chili crunch edamame, and some sliced cucumber 🕺 INGREDIENTS 🥢 BRAISING SAUCE - 4 tbsp gochujang - 4 tbsp soy sauce - 2 tbsp sesame oil - 2 tbsp brown sugar - salt to taste THE REST - 2 tbsp neutral oil (I use peanut oil) - 3.5 pounds bone in short rib (I wanted boneless for this one but it’s okay) - kosher salt (heavily season the short rib) - 7 garlic cloves, minced - 2 tbsp fresh ginger, grated - heavy drizzle of soy sauce - 3- 3.5 cups beef broth - 1/2 Asian pear, grated - top with green onion, sesame seeds & chili crunch DRIZZLING SAUCE - a few ladles of braising liquid - 1 tsp corn starch + 1 tsp water #creatorsearchinsights #dinner #shortrib #asianmeals #homemadefood
