Whenever anyone suggests I try private industry. lol. That and private industry doesn’t think teachers have valuable transferable skills. They are so dead wrong. A good teacher can do almost anything.

10 months on the other side now and it’s still very bizarre for me - looked forward to changing things up but wow do we have such a unique job - nothing else encompasses all the hats we wear and the satisfaction we get from seemingly simple experiences on a random Tuesday - miss my kids and my classroom but thankful for 25 amazing years at a great place 🙏🏽
