All due respect to George and the rest of the "it's both sides" reality twisters, but there's only one party that's for giving all money to billionaires and calling anything other than that socialism or communism; only one party that lets corporations dump pollution directly into the drinking water supply and calls any attempt to disallow it burdensome regulations; only one party that sells public lands to extraction companies for pennies on the dollar and calls it conservation; only one party that tries to legislate minorities out of existence; only one party that guts hate crime laws; only one party that defends and encourages police shooting unarmed citizens; only one party that strips consumer protections; only one party kills affirmative action and DEI so black Americans can't get jobs; only one party that makes every policy personally benefit Putin; only one party who had the Files redacted thirty eight thousand times before congress could see it; only one that repeatedly sends American troops to die in the desert for nonexistent weapons of mass destruction; only one who has the full throated support of the Aryan Nation, Neo Nazis, and KKK- and actively seeks that support, etc. So, I'm sure George Carlin thought he was being highly intellectual and super slick when he concocted this excuse to let Republicans off the hook for all the things that have damaged America and blaming Democrats for those same things even though they didn't do them, but he's not fooling anyone and neither is anyone else who tells that lie. The evidence doesn't come close to holding up.
