Doctors diagnosed her with T6 paralysis. No feeling. No movement. She wasn’t the only one. Four patients total received the wrong medication that day during joint replacement procedures. Her family says the surgeons and anesthesiologist did nothing wrong. The error came from the pharmacy before the surgery even started. The hospital self-reported it the same day, apologized, and says they’ve added new safeguards. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is now looking into what happened.
