I'm confused... (retired cop) i worked in units that executed these types of warrants. I have been the lead, and what baffles me is, didn't they run his name through the system to ensure the warrant was valid prior to executing it?? Its part of the checklist as a recall SMH

My parents used to own an apartment building in a small town. One day the county sheriff and the city police come to my parents house looking for him, telling them they know he rents an apartment in their building and asked where he was. My mother politely informed them that he was already in their jail. He was in their OWN freaking jail and they didn't know it.

They said, "arrest him again"! Sounds like too many bored LEO's and condo staff and too many completely avoidable mistakes.

This isn't an error. It's an act of terrorism. It happens too consistently to be considered an error.
