@aeriscarter: Here are the beginnings of my Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Claire Redfield cosplay juxtaposed with my Resident Evil 2 remake cosplay. 👖 In retrospect, I am kicking myself for not rolling up the sleeves on the blazer 😭 I am TERRIFIED every time I wear the white shirt that it’s going to get stained, so I respect that Claire was willing to risk her Banana Republic looking business wear for the sake of fashion 😂 I love leather so much, but in my experience, you are always in danger of color transfer to underlying layers when you wear it. 🖍️ I ruined my computer repair shop shirt from the early 2000s that way 😭 I ended up finding a belt exactly like Claire’s secondhand, which I’m now waiting to arrive in the mail, along with her holster, so this is still a work in progress like most of my costumes are. 🚧 I’m going to make some alterations to the holster 🔫 to make sure that it as closely resembles hers in the game as possible, and I’m going to have to shorten the belt. ✂️ I don’t often include holsters with my cosplays because I’m worried that it will make people uncomfortable out in public since they are uncommon in my city, but I want to be more accurate with my costumes in the future, which necessitates them. #ResidentEvil #ClaireRedfield #residentevil2remake #ResidentEvilcosplay #ResidentEvil2
