@mamaaa9204: The reason Mehran Karimi Nasseri got stuck… wasn’t just bad luck. It started with his identity. He claimed his mother was British… and that he had the right to live in the UK. But officials couldn’t verify his story. And then… his refugee papers were lost. Some reports say they were stolen. Others suggest something more complicated. Either way… without documents, he became stateless. No country would accept him. Not the UK. Not Belgium. Not France. And that’s how he ended up trapped in Charles de Gaulle Airport. But here’s where it gets strange. In 1999… France finally gave him permission to stay. He was free. But he refused to leave. Some journalists reported that after years of isolation… his mental state had changed. The airport had become his routine. His identity. He even renamed himself… “Sir Alfred.” He continued living on that same bench… writing about his life… watching strangers pass by. Until 2006… when he was finally taken to a hospital. After nearly two decades… freedom felt unfamiliar.
