@rootsofhealing: This is worth the read

olga matthew5 :

More people should read this book, or at least see the movie.

CherylD :

Had to read this in HS , Animal Farm too.

Tom McGowan :

He wrote it in 1948! When he named it, he reversed 48 to make it 1984

Jsumm :

Girl. Atlas Shrugged…..where is John Gault.

creativegirl2711 :

Right on! I wrote a paper in grad school about Orwell. I am aware that it is happening.

jljohns1954 :

I graduated high school in 1984. Guess what book we were required to read?!🤔🤔

debbieowen303 :

ᵀʰᵉ ᴼⁿᵉ ᵃⁿᵈ ᴼⁿˡʸ𝔸𝕋𝕍🇺🇸🥓🖕 :

Orwell was required reading when I was in high school

All appliances as well.

Nate Nault :

Love it

Windycitycakes :

The SAME shit with the “in death” series of books by JD Robb! I think the first one was written in 1995 and it is supposed to take place in 2059 and this shit is all happening! Everything in her books about the future is here! It is so bizarre!

T Bird :

Let's not forget the Truman show 🥰

🇺🇸🐊⚡️Gatorgray⚡️🐊🇺🇸 :

Have you listened to Paul Harvey if I were the devil?

BearKayakMom :

Animal Farm is a good one too

danaames861 :

Read it decades ago. You are absolutely correct. Another person mentioned Animal Farm. That person is correct too. I am so glad I am older. I worry about our younger generation

VirginiaWest :

Orwell didn't predict the future. Factions of society decided to use it as their playbook.

Tim McDonald :

I read it in high school in 1969 and it's TRUE! We're living it! ✝️🇺🇸⚓
