What I have came to find out after feeding my dogs chicken and rice for many years is chicken is actually the number one allergy for dogs. I recently changed to Purina Pro plan sensitive skin and stomach. It’s salmon. No chicken products. My dogs hair is like SILK and the shedding in almost non existent. My dogs allergies have improved sooooo much! It is a bit pricey though. Good luck to our favorite boy. I hope you find the right food for him. Purina pro plan is highly suggested by most vets also.

My golden had terrible food allergies and we ended up taking him to a dermatologist and they prescribed this food, he’s been on it for 2 years and had amazing results! We top it with salmon oil and other supplements too. Pricey but worth it if you can get it through your vet. 🫶🏼

Canola meal is a cheap filler that can cause allergy like reactions as well if your dog is sensitive to proteins or etc, canola meal is also the 4th ingredient which means a there’s a larger quantity of it in the food. Just FYI for the boy!

I had the same issues with my 2 boys. Turns out they were both allergic to chicken and I learned that it is the number 1 allergen in pups. I switched to Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach - salmon and fish and that was a god send.

Natural Balance Salmon and Sweet Potato is what I feed my doxies who are infamous for have food allergies. Works like a charm.

Taste of the Wild Ancient Stream Salmon Flavored. My dog is allergic to chicken and this is a great food choice for her.

Open farm superfood blend changed my golden BMs and they are more consistent now. He definitely goes to the bathroom more but it’s because it suggests more for portion size
