: My engine is having a performance issue. The spark plugs were done and the throttle body was cleaned and I’m getting the air filters changed tomorrow. The catalytic converter isn’t showing any signs of failure but they are inspecting it tomorrow. but if those don’t work then how can I figure out why the car isn’t circulating air or fuel correctly? I don’t want to spend too much money on just checking what the problem is.

I'd like to add.... get an alignment even if it's brand new. I bought a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee. it had 4 miles on it. I hated driving it especially in the snow. told my husband I didn't want car anymore after first snow. he drove it understood why and took it for and assignment. tech told my husband just because it's brand new doesnt mean factory aligned it and even said usually they don't. I'll be getting a new car in next few months. first thing will be an alignment.

I definitely recommend the oil change as well. I bought a used Chevy Colorado. They said they did an oil change. I believe them, like a week later the change oil light came on. I thought that was weird so I ignored it and it came back on a week later so I took it to a mechanic. Yeah there was no oil in the truck at all so luckily I did not blow my engine so they must’ve got distracted and not finished what they were doing. The mechanic also said that the oil filter was stuck on there. It was hard to get off. 🤦♀️

just bought a used car. very pleased but it's taken me 3 days to find the f"*##: scent pads they put in there. found one, but today I found 2 more when I had a chance to properly wipe everything down with ArmorAll. hopefully now it won't smell overwhelming now. I've been Freezing the hell out of it. now I think that will actually work lol
