I brought a backpack with me and it saved me. They also don’t have paper towels in bathrooms, so it’s good to also bring a small towel. The flush app will show you where all public restrooms are. Japan is amazing 🥰

Suica is only digitally available for iPhone. If you have android, you will need a physical card. You can also use Pacmo card. It’s another card they use for bus/train service. You can also use Suica cards to show with. It’s like a debit card. Have cash on you. Some places will accept credit cards. The machines to get the cards only take cash. 7/11 have atm machines.
