I have ancestors who were labeled Mulatto even though there is no evidence of them being "biracial"...they were lighter skinned but having a white parent isn't seen. My great great grandma was labeled Mulatto in Virginia but she was not light skinned nor did she have a yt parent.

Exactly 🎯🎯🎯 As in - There were a LOT of Groups being BOTH Indigenous + imported into America as the Enslaved with various DIFFERENT Phenotypes + MANY were not even from Africa in their ORIGINS but ALL of them were collapsed into "Black" & or "Blackness" as an Enslaved/Slavery Caste system thru OUT The Americas. *People really DO misunderstand the Resource POVERTY of So much of Europe as a HUGE Yt European underclass @ the Time.
