@messybutreal_1: Clove oil stain, did a baking soda, dish soap and water paste, let it sit for 24 hours but it’s still there… off camera it doesn’t seem as bad but on camera it is coming up really dark… #cleaning #cleaningtiktok #granite #granitecountertops #oilstain
I have worked in a Granite, Quartz and Marble Stone Shop for 8 years. I would never recommend sunscreen.

You have to do it again and leave it for a few days. I’ve had to do that and it works. I just do a paste of baking soda and water … no soap.

When I watched you applying this I immediately thought "no water! It'll create another stain"...

Trust me! I've been in your spot! Bacon grease on marble backsplash. Water and baking soda paste. Not covered. Allow to dry 48 hr. Scrape off. Repeat. Your stone will recover

Keep doing the same solution until it goes away. My daughter stained mine with hair dye and I had to do the solution like 4 times.

Maybe oil blotting sheets for the face might work. Possibly put a few sheets down on it with a weight on top. Those things suck up oil

Use dry shampoo in the powder form. I use Trader Joe’s dry shampoo. Leave it on for 24-48hrs repeat until it’s gone.

Try just the dry baking soda, I left mine 24 hrs the replaced and did it 3-4 times and it got way better. My husband had dropped an olive oil bottle on its side and didn’t clean it for days. I was away and when I came back did the baking soda back to back
