My cat doesn’t like to be pet that long! I think what’s good that she’s letting you in general, I think cats get overstimulated quicker

you're doing a really good job of paying attention to her signals when petting her! when she pulls away, you stop, and I bet that's doing wonders for building trust

I have a cat that sometimes gets overstimulated if being pet for too long or in a spot she doesn’t like. Maybe that’s how Roo is too?

It took my baby 3 years to acknowledge my presence. Then I fostered 2 rescues, vet diagnosed her with depression. She would smack & hiss at me for a whole year 🥲. She’s 7 now and has finally become a cuddlebug. You’re doing amazing with Roo 💜

My eight year-old knows the first three seconds of every Roo video by heart so every time she hears that meow and hiss, she immediately asks what the cat update is 😂.
