@kassailily: Kilian Love, Don’t Be Shy Extreme was released in 2021, and it’s a more intense, deeper version of the original Love, Don’t Be Shy created by Calice Becker. The inspiration is a sensual, playfully seductive feminine character, but here everything is turned up. More florals, higher density, stronger presence. It has a kind of luxury dessert vibe, but not light, rather rich and full. The opening immediately brings the well-known orange blossom and neroli sweetness, with a sticky, marshmallow-like feel. In the heart, rose and white florals are much more pronounced, creating a creamier and denser floral character than in the original. In the drydown, vanilla, sugary accords, and musk dominate, leaving a warm, long-lasting sweet cloud on the skin. The Extreme version is less airy, more concentrated, slightly oily in texture, deeper and more long-lasting. The mood is intimate, strongly seductive, and feminine. More suited for evening wear. It fits a confident woman who knows exactly the effect she has. A warm, skin-close sweetness that attracts attention. Not a background scent, but a presence. For me, this is the “female maneater” fragrance because of its cheeky sweetness. It’s no surprise the original became such a success for Kilian, but personally I prefer the Extreme. One of the best feminine fragrances. It deserves a place in any woman’s collection, not necessarily for everyday use, but when you want to feel extra attractive, it will definitely help. Durability: Long lasting, as i noticed it works the best if i reapply after 5-6 hours, but that's just because i like the intensity. On skin it is noticeable for about 8 hours. Sillage: Strong, but not a beast mode. I'd say it's intense in the first 2-3 hours, and then settles into something calmer. Weather/occasions: In the heat it is definitely cloying because of the sweetness. Works like a charm in winter/spring, but i would wear it in a colder summer night.
